We are about reducing service connected financial hardships for wounded warriors, disabled veterans, & families.

WarriorDignity.Org is the web presence of Warrior Dignity, Inc. (WD), a 501c3 charity founded by disabled veterans and wounded warriors to help wounded warriors, disabled veterans, & families with Service-Connected Financial Hardships (SCFH).

WD Mission: to assist veterans with service-connected financial hardships. Concentrating (at least initially) on wounded warriors and service disabled veterans and their families.

The focus is distinct from many organizations which focus on health, medical, wellbeing, and temporary assistance. Rather the idea is to help the vet overcome the Service-Connected Financial Hardships so that they can have an opportunity to function at a level equivalent or greater than that prior to the hardship.

The identified need is based upon the large disparities in unemployment and housing crises affecting veteran families, among other findings, sometimes leading to depression and suicide. Additionally, observations have been reported that veterans face disproportionate disadvantages in overcoming these difficulties and fall victim to misunderstanding (and discrimination). Ideas are to leverage their Sacrifice Equity with appropriate providers and engage legal and financial professionals and organizations where applicable to restore Warrior Dignity and their ability to participate fully once again in our economy and enjoy the fruits of their Sacrifices.

Current Objectives: select partners, sponsors, and advisors; share stories of needs and successes, validate needs and pilot assistance methods to improve outcomes.

Assistance methods may include counseling, mediation, legal assistance, legislative remedies, coordination with appropriate financial, industry, government, and other charitable and service organizations.
